2. Timber can be delivered in rings of approximately 8-10” and would need only to be split by yourself to the size you require.
3. We can deliver the timber processed so it will fit straight onto your fire.

2. Medium load which is half a load on the back of a transit type pick up.

We can deliver medium or large loads of wood chip, the cost of which is a delivery charge of £10.00 within the radius of TF2 6QT, if you live outside of the radius there may be an additional charge.

We can supply all materials and build you a wood shed designed to suit you garden and storage needs, this not only offers the best way of storing and drying the logs in the best possible way but also becomes a feature of the garden or when needed hides in the back ground of your garden, so whether it’s a small storage shed for by the back door or a storage shed up in the garden we can offer you a solution.

For a limited time only have a wood store built by us and we will fill it full of processed logs at no extra cost.

When any tree work is carried out we recycle all the branches up to 6” diameter on site by using a wood chipper which chips the branches into the back of our truck.

The wood chip can be left on site and used for shrub beds as bark mulch or we can take it away where we would deliver it to local allotments where they will use it to help maintain there paths or to local people which use it to help manage there gardens.

We have many uses for the timber depending on the type of tree it is either taken to a local cabinet maker or used for making furniture, or a timber merchant that would use it for fencing products and any other timber is processed for fire wood.

Any green waste that can’t be chipped is taken to a green waste recycling centre where it is shredded and sold of as compost.

MSF Tree Surgery is a registered waste carrier, there for we are legally allowed to remove the waste from site, any one removing waste without a licence is braking the law, and not only can they be fined but yourself could also be fined, please click the link below for further information.

Wildlife/European Protected Species (bats & nesting birds) have been considered before all work is carried out.
All climbing and rigging equipment is LOLER inspected.
All tools and equipment meet PUWER regulations.
All staff are qualified for the work they undertake
All Personnel Protective Equipment is used at all times for the work being carried out.

Health and Safety is not just about keeping the team at MSF safe its also to make sure that no one else within the working environment like members of the public, customers and any one else is put at risk during the work being carried out.

• We carry out a site visit to see what work needs doing, this allows us to assess how the work could be carried out
• As much help and information is given to make sure the work is done to the customer’s requirements.
• In some cases you may live within a conservation area or the tree may have a TPO (tree preservation order) in which case we can contact you local Authority and help with any applications that may need to be made.

We would recommend asking the following question

• Are you insured?, don’t take our word for it ask to see a copy of the insurance certificate, if your still not sure contact the insurance company they will clarify if the insurance is in place.
• Are you qualified to carry out the work?, again if unsure ask to see there qualifications,
• How will you go about the job?
• What health and safety is in place?
• Do you take the rubbish away? if so what do you do with it, if its being taken away in there vehicle, do they have the relevant waste carriers licence.
• When you have the work carried out never pay anyone until the work is complete and your happy with the end result,
